Help & Support: Becoming the Hands of Christ Together
Here at Blessed Sacrament and St. Vincent de Paul, we are called to be the hands and feet of Christ in our community, extending His love and compassion to our neighbors in need. Our outreach ministries are more than just services; they are powerful encounters where faith is put into action, and lives are transformed—both for those who receive and for those who give.
We invite you to be a part of this life-giving work.

More Than Just a Bag of Groceries
For a family facing hardship, a bag of groceries is a lifeline. It’s the relief of knowing there will be food on the table, the dignity of being able to provide for one's children, and a tangible sign that someone cares. This ministry is a direct answer to the Gospel call to "feed the hungry," providing not just physical nourishment but also spiritual comfort and hope.
A Ministry That Feeds the Soul
This is a ministry of transformation. For the person receiving help, it is an encounter with the unconditional charity of Christ. For our volunteers, it is a profound opportunity to see the face of Christ in those they serve. Working to stock shelves, pack bags, and offer a warm welcome, our volunteers discover that in feeding others, their own souls are deeply fed.

The Sandwich Ministry: Sharing Bread, Spreading Hope
WHAT: Making sandwiches for our neighbors at The Rescue Mission.
WHEN: First Saturday of Every Month, 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM
WHERE: The Andrea Polcaro Room (APR) at Blessed Sacrament School
CONTACT: Mary Klee (mklee1016@yahoo.com)
More Than a Meal
It starts with simple ingredients—bread, meat, cheese—but what we create together is so much more than a sandwich. It’s a message of hope, a sign of dignity, and a reminder to our neighbors experiencing homelessness that they are seen, remembered, and loved. This simple act of service becomes a powerful prayer and a tangible sign of God's love.
A Ministry of Joyful Fellowship
This is a ministry that builds community from the inside out. As we gather on a Saturday morning, sharing stories and laughter while our hands are busy, we become the Body of Christ in action. It’s a perfect opportunity for individuals and families to serve together, transforming a simple morning into a moving meditation on the Gospel and building friendships that strengthen our parish.
