A Mission for Our Kids' Safety

The laughter and joy of children on our school playground is a precious gift. To ensure their play is as safe as it is fun, our community is called upon every few years for a powerful, one-weekend mission: to refresh the playground with a new, deep layer of safety mulch. This is one of the most tangible ways we can come together to protect the youngest members of our parish and school family.

All Hands on Deck: The Plan

This is a true "barn raising" event that requires teamwork and community spirit! A mountain of 40 cubic yards of mulch will be delivered, and we need a team of energetic volunteers to move it to its final destination. We'll have roles for everyone:

• Shovelers to fill the wheelbarrows.
• Movers to transport the mulch.
• Spreaders to create a safe, even surface for the kids.

With a great team working together, we can transform the playground in just one weekend!

We're calling on our school parents, parishioners, and older students to lend their strength for this important project. This isn't a small task, but with a team of 15 or more volunteers, we can make quick work of it. Even just a few hours of your time will make a massive difference.

This project takes place every 3-4 years as needed. When the time comes, look for announcements in the parish bulletin, school communications, and on our website. Sign-ups will be essential! Let's come together to ensure a soft landing for every child at Blessed Sacrament.
