The Garden Guild: Tending God's Creation at Blessed Sacrament
The beauty of God's creation is a reflection of His glory. Our Garden Guild is a ministry dedicated to bringing that beauty to our sacred grounds, creating a warm and welcoming first impression for all who come to worship. These lovingly tended gardens create a beautiful pathway to our church, preparing our hearts to encounter Christ in the Blessed Sacrament.
Adopt a Garden of Your Own!
Our parish is blessed with over 20 distinct garden spots, and we have a wonderful opportunity for you to get involved! We are looking for individuals, families, or small groups of friends to "adopt" one of our available gardens for the season.
This is your chance to share your green thumb and creativity! You choose what to plant—whether it's your favorite perennials, vibrant annuals, or anything in between. You can even participate in our beautiful tradition of giving new life to flowers from our altar, planting Easter lilies and other arrangements back into the earth to bloom again year after year.
How to Join
The commitment is flexible and deeply rewarding. Volunteers typically purchase their own plantings and care for their adopted garden on their own schedule. It’s a perfect ministry for those who find peace, prayer, and connection in the soil.
Ready to claim your spot and help our parish bloom? No gardening expertise is required—just a joyful heart and a willingness to get your hands dirty! To find out which garden spots are available and ready for your care, please contact the parish office.
